Found due to blindmole

This kind of stuff confuses me as much as it angers me. I know it's been going around for awhile but it shouldn't be old news until it stops.

Also

I don't read Supergirl and I doubt many other people are. She seems to be getting a really bad deal at DC right now. I've seen the covers and it seems like they're drawn by someone who has never seen a real girl in his life. She's got this strange, stretchy waist thing going on which just looks disturbing. And seems that inside the book she's being written as not particularly heroic. Not really the aspirational model DC should be giving young women (or young men for that matter).

In connection with this dryponder has started up a drawing meme for Supergirl and there are some neat variations on the character. Here's my version:



I've stayed pretty close to the original outfit here. I especially wanted to give Kara some degree of modesty by covering up her stomach and giving her some tights. Plus I gave her the pigtails both to make her look cute and so that her hair doesn't get in her face while fighting villains. Finally she's wearing gloves as they would be handy if she came across kryptonite that she had to dispose of.

Yesterday was Hourly Comics Day which makes today Hourly Comics-Looking-At Day. Here's mine.

Haven't read the Bible in years but I still managed to do pretty well on this test.

Pretty much everyone and their magical dog have seen Adventure Time by now so there's no need to explain who these guys are.

Did another Strip Fight. This one almost didn't get drawn. I had left it till the weekend to actually draw it which would have given me plenty of time. However, my Nintendo Wii was finally delivered (code 0934 5787 5675 9507, please add if you want to). I ended up getting it done with 5 hours to spare.

I just went to see Smokin' Aces which was not quite as dumb as I thought it would be. It's good fun in places.

I just entered Strip Fight for the first time ever. It's Round 100 and there are some damn awesome comics there. I plan on drawing more and drinking less this year. We'll see how that pans out.
